Matthew Garry Conquering Social Media as an Influencer and Content Creator

Exploring new frontiers is not age-dependent, and Matthew Garry is proof that there’s no bad time for whatever a person believes they can achieve. Choosing to become a content creator was a decision he made to express himself and tap into the growing trend of today’s social media world.

He set out to connect with people who enjoy humor and entertainment. And with his growing brand on social media, he has become one of the top content creators entertaining a wide range of people with his funny videos. Mathew did not mind his age as he began to put out content to gain some traction on social media. His goal is to organically build his name into a famous one and become one of the top brands on social media.

Before social media, Matthew Garry owned a hockey rink that was shut down because the owners of the building managed it poorly and ended up closing it down. When he expressed the idea to start social media content creation, a bunch of young children told him there was no way he’d ever get a million followers. Now, he’s only a few thousands of followers shy from hitting that figure, and he’s more than committed to delivering premium content as a content creator. His TikTok has also grown into over 1.8 million followers and 21 million likes.

The level of work he puts into his craft reflects his commitment to entertainment and how much he wants people to feel good despite everything going on in the world. He has also worked with multiple brands like Flex Seal and Bluechew while positioning himself to work with many more notable companies.

His goal for the next few years is to keep making waves on social media while entertaining millions of people. He also hopes to give many people hope that they can do anything they want to do if they are determined. “I started creating social media content as an old guy. I didn’t fit the profile of the young, active influencers on social media today but I didn’t care about all of that. I started doing my thing and the audience began to build. Now I enjoy it and I hope many other people also take the opportunity to do the things they really want to do,” Matthew said.

Learn How Graffiti Artist Samuel Schryver Turned a Surfing Accident Into An Expansive Career as a Globally Recognized & Collected Artist

Samuel Schryver is an American artist based out of Kauai, Hawaii originally from Los Angeles, California. From a young age Sam found himself to have a knack for art — At the age of 15, he began illustrating art through graffiti. The notorious space of graffiti art at the time was at the midst of the Los Angeles “graffiti golden era.” With Sam at the forefront of an emerging space, he quickly grew a name for himself as a graffiti artist in Los Angeles. Though it may seem to be a simple success story, like all success comes a turn of the tide where adversity meets the curve. To learn more about Sam’s story and how he was able to shift through adversity into a now acclaimed and collected artist — We sat down with him to learn more.

Early On

After much consideration, Sam had little to no choice but to move on from his career in graffiti art. In the midst of his time in the underground graffiti space, there was a growing rise in gang related violence, drug abuse, & armed robbery(s). The turning point for Schryver happened when he himself was assaulted at gunpoint, and in a separate altercation, one of his friends was shot dead. It became clear to Sam that he had to move on from the underground space, quickly. Sometime after these events, Sam made the decision to move to Kauai — for him, a place he had felt spiritually bonded to.

A Shift & Adversity

Besides a genuine talent for art Schryver has also enjoyed his time surfing. He took advantage of the amazing surfing of Kauai, Hawaii where he resides today. Unfortunately during his leisure time surfing, Sam suffered an accident that set him back into 3 years of rehab for the injuries he received. This blow landed Sam into a deep depression, being limited to what he can do and searching within the depths of his soul for an answer — Sam leaned into creativity with his art. Sam went on to say “I had trouble within the pain of my injury to find things to do that didn’t cause pain. I needed to also, of course, make money. It became clear to me that art was the one thing I had left amongst so much that disappeared, and that I could survive monetarily while continuing to recover physically and spiritually.”

Optimism & Courage

Through Sam’s courage and effort he quickly began offering commissioned based art work, and with perseverance success quickly became a reality for Sam. Soon after, Sam began receiving an influx of inbound inquiries and new business from across the country from people that were fans of his work. Schryver notes his work as a commission based artist is to create based off of clairvoyance, feeling, emotion, & divine energy. Many people who have commissioned Sam have gotten work that vibrantly explains the subject that was originally inquired about. To date, Sam has even been commissioned with his colleagues for events organized by Justin Bieber & many other talented well known celebrities across the world. Through the context of our interview with Sam, one thing sticks out — Success is never linear and through trial and tribulation came Sam, a nationally acclaimed artist.

Today

Sam and his collaborator KAPACHE1 are currently developing a community based art education and experiential project: KASA (www.kasastudio.org) an artist residency and cultural accelerator on the north shore of Kauai, set to launch this summer.  His current collection is titled Answered Prayers, this amongst other collections can be seen on SAMVE7’s website www.samve7.com or on his instagram @samve7.

The Grammys’ Date and Venus Has Been Moved Due to the Omicron Variant

Photo: ABC

The pandemic has halted most of our biggest festivals and events for almost two years now. It has been a whirlwind of events from “it is now safe” to “another variant has existed.” Now, another big event has been rescheduled due to the pandemic.

The Grammys is supposed to be set for the last week of January in downtown Los Angeles at the Crypto.com arena. However, the omicron variant has emerged, so the music industry’s biggest night is put on hold.

The big award show is now moved to take place on April 3. They have also changed its venue to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Recording Academy representatives have not disclosed the grounds behind the change in location. But it looks like the Crypto.com Arena is fully booked in the days leading up to April 3, in addition to either one of a Clippers or a Lakers game on the day of.

The change of location has seen a knock-on effect, though, as it will overlap with the CMT Music Awards, which was arranged for that same date.

The Grammys has undergone a series of rough roads lately. The ceremony last year smashed, with viewership plummeting to roughly 8.8 million. That is a 53% drop from the previous year’s numbers.

The 2021 award show was controversial due to Canadian singer The Weekend promising to boycott the show following the rebuff for any nominations, mentioning the anonymous committees that comprise the initial voting ballots as the key motive of his complaints.

The Recording Academy has steered actions to boost equity to its list of nominees. This includes the anonymous committees’ abolishment and stretching the number of prospective winners in the big categories.

The host of the evening will still be comedian and “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah. And the award show will be broadcasted live on Paramount+.

Apple TV+ Secures Legendary’s Monsterverse Series Godzilla and the Titans

Photo: Den of Geek

Apple TV+ requested a new animation series starring Godzilla and the Titans in an enormous deal that stretches on Legendary’s Monsterverse.

It will be trailing around the blaring clash between Godzilla and the Titans that tore down San Francisco and the appalling new revelation that monsters are, in fact, in existence.

The series follows a family’s adventure to discover hidden secrets and a legacy tying them to a mysterious organization called Monarch. Unfortunately, though, the title of the series is still not disclosed.

The making of the series will be left in the hands of Legendary Television as producer, co-creators Matt Fraction and Chris Black as executive producers, with the latter as showrunner. Also joining the team are Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell of House Pictures and Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arisa from Toho Co. Ltd.

Toho has licensed the rights for this series to Legendary, as the owner of the Godzilla character, as a natural offshoot of their deep-rooted affinity on the movie franchise.

Discussion about extending the universe through a series started following “Godzilla v. Kong,” becoming one of the first massive box-office smashes in the pandemic.

Legendary is already creating another upcoming but still-untitled movie in the Monsterverse. However, they spotted potential in devising a new series and started negotiating with appealed buyers.

Apple instantly indicated interest as it seeks to possess additional branded IP to a set of original TV series that keeps on expanding. So a deal was later agreed upon to begin development on the series.

The franchise debuted in 2014 with “Godzilla” and proceeded with “Kong: Skull Island” in 2017, then “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” in 2019, and the latest “Godzilla v. Kong in 2021.” Around $2 billion is the Monsterverse films’ earnings at the global box office and is extending with “Skull Island,” the new anime series.

The series will be released worldwide on Apple TV+. Together with upcoming dramas like the one based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times best-selling trilogy “Wool”; “Foundation” based on the novels by Isaac Asimov; “Invasion” by Simon Kinberg and David Weil; and “See,” a post-apocalyptic series featuring Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, and Alfre Woodard.

Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader Have Been In a Secret Relationship For Over a Year Now

2019’s “Noelle” co-stars Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader have reportedly been dating for a while. And it looks like fans are in shock of the revelation because they did not suspect this.

According to sources, the pair, who co-starred in the 2019 Christmas movie “Noelle,” have silently been together for more than a year.

36-year-old Anna and 43-year-old Bill have reportedly known each other years ago but were intimately involved with each other after their Disney+ flick production.

Some media reporters have reached out to both Anna and Bill’s representatives for statements. However, they have rejected any chance to make a comment.

Disclosure of the couple’s secret relationship appears more than a year after Bill and American actress Rachel Bilson parted ways.

The former love birds ignited romance rumors late 2019 prior to their red-carpet debut at the 2020 Golden Globes as a couple. However, they were only together for under a year.

At the moment for calling it quits, rumors circulated that 40-year-old Rachel was “devastated” at their split.

Bill and Rachel worked together in the romantic comedy “The To Do List” released 2013. The film was directed by Bill’s wife at the moment, Maggie Carey. Bill and Maggie were legally tied between 2006 and 2018, and they have three children together.

Anna said earlier that she doesn’t have faith that soul mates exist “in any traditional sense,” even though she and Bill have been in a relationship for quite some time.

“Like, that word is kind of synonymous with ‘the one,'” the “Pitch Perfect” star said in an interview in 2020. “There’s many ‘the ones’ and if we’re lucky we spend a long time with someone.”

Anna Kendrick rose to stardom in 2008 when she was casted in Twilight. She became even more famous when she starred in the trilogy “Pitch Perfect.” She has received various notable awards such as the Academy Award, Primetime Emmy Award, Tony Award and Screen Actors Guild Award. She is one of the youngest to be nominated for the Triple Crown of Acting.

Bill Hader, on the other hand, is a multifaceted entertainment personality. He has been nominated for eight Emmy Awards and has brought home two of them.

Sarah Tromley’s Talent Shines through in New Song “In Too Deep”

Sarah Tromley’s undeniable talents have taken center stage on her journey as an artist, and she has spent the last few years growing as an artist. With her songs sending her audiences to the cliff of their emotions and getting them to revel in them, she has earned her place as many people’s favorite and continues to build a career on their support. Her latest single, “In Too Deep,” is a further testament that she still has more up her sleeves as a musician.

“In Too Deep,” tells Sarah’s story and sums up her journey through life, dealing with anxiety and disillusion with the city and the music industry. Co-produced by Hitco Music executives and co-written by TikTok sensation and music talent Francis Karel, the song leans deeply into heavy yet subdued pop and rock energy. Describing her feelings, Sarah Tromley said: “I’m beyond excited to share this part of my journey with the fans. The rock  genre has been part of my early childhood, so it feels intimate and familiar. This song will show a new side of me that people haven’t seen before, and I’m very excited to see what everyone thinks.”

Since she broke into the music scene, Sarah Tromley has pursued success as an independent artist, making songs that explore themes like sexuality, embracing femininity and pure vulnerability. She has curated her brand to portray her as a conscious artist who leans into the pain of her world and showcases the healed side while at it. Her music shows the possibility of overcoming challenges and feeling better no matter what a person is going through.

Releasing “In Too Deep” is her way of positioning herself to reach the top of the music charts, and the song drawing influence from a wide range of musical elements gives audiences something to hold on to. Her fans have enjoyed her performance on covers of different songs, and releasing her own original song solidifies her place with the fans.

Over the course of her career, Sarah Tromley has worked with artists affiliated with Young Thug and the HitCo Music team on some upcoming releases that include Kuk Harrell’s talented team of writers and engineers. She was also credited by Jelli Dorman for award-winning work with Lil Nas X, Cardi B, and Normani.

The Portland native was motivated to build a music career by listening to music as a young girl. Her parents listened to music a lot and exposed her early to many of the artists that influenced her sound. Some of her music influences include Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, and Bon Iver. She also draws inspiration from her life experiences and believes that she would not have a career if she did not experience all she did in her life.

With “In Too Deep” gaining massive airplay, she sees herself putting out more music and taking on the business world using entertainment as her launchpad. She plans to get her name and brand on products and promote them worldwide. She also hopes to go on national tours performing to her dedicated fans and putting out more music to entertain her fans.

Suave Xavier Pegues Riding Instagram Success to Comic Renown and Entertainment Greatness

Social media has become a massive game-changer for the small players that would typically not get a shot at greatness with the way specific industries operate. That certainly has been the case in entertainment as talents come alive through platforms like Instagram and TikTok as digital channels level the playing field. One such individual that has significantly benefited from this is Suave Xavier Pegues, or known by his social handles suavexavier_ or savvy, who has become a follower favorite in the comedy category over the past few months.

He has over 538,000 Instagram followers and thousands in engagements per post. But what shines through is his talent, especially when entertaining people online. Suave started gathering momentum when his impersonation videos of Kevin Hart started gaining momentum.

“Ever since I’ve started social media making voice impressions of Kevin Hart and Donald Trump, everything’s been going my way,” explains the social media influencer. “People often ask me how long it took me to learn how to make voice impressions? Honestly, I never practiced voice impressions and never knew that I could do them, to begin with.”

But the comedy creator’s most significant breakthrough had to be on TikTok. During the pandemic, Suave Xavier Pegues started creating content on the video social media app, which would become a massive game-changer for him. Today, he now has over 11.5 million followers on the platform and 223 million likes overall. The TikToker’s dogs would join the fun from time to time, bringing good vibes to people worldwide.

From afar, Suave Xavier seems like your regular guy, following Denzel Washington, Kevin Hart, Martin Lawrence, The Rock, Will Smith, and Leonardo DiCaprio. He’s athletic and loves playing football but would have to park his dreams of going pro after a career-ending injury. But that setback would be a blessing in disguise as he would now have time to pour himself into his true passion—making other people laugh. Savvy, as most people now know the influencer, Suave simply loves to have fun. So naturally, that would influence his social media influencing career.

“It’s always been my dream to be in a movie with my heroes someday,” explains Savvy. “I believe that if you speak things into existence with the right mindset and determination, then anything is possible.”

The social media comedian’s greatest motivation comes from his roots. Suave comes from a small city, but he has dreamed big enough for the stars. But even as he shoots for greatness, he remembers always looking back, seeking to create a life that would allow him to support his family and some friends who have been with him since the very beginning.

Suave Xavier Pegues continues to work hard, and his labor will likely pay off soon. Despite his overwhelming success, he still hasn’t slowed down. Savvy hopes to land a significant role in a television show or movie very soon. It is starting to gain the attention of people and institutions like Dwayne Johnson, the producers at The Ellen Show, and Fox News.

Savvy maintains a positive attitude as he looks for new ways to delight his followers and build on his brand.

TOMER ORENSTEIN – BEGINNINGS OF AN ILLUSTRIOUS MUSICAL JOURNEY

Music is transcendent; it defies boundaries, rigid norms, and accepted preconceptions. It has the power to lift all out of the mundane, the humdrum, and take them on a magical journey of epiphany and inspiration. Music holds as much sway over the listener as the musician. Music’s ability to transport listeners to a place of wonder and discovery is well known, but what is less known is how it affects the musicians themselves. This ability of music has a catalytic quality about it. As music influences the audience, it elicits a response from the person listening to it that isn’t quantifiable, but it is transmitted to the musician nonetheless. When combined with moving music, this response is like a superfood that nourishes the musician’s ability to grow. So, as the listener is inspired by the music, broadening their horizons, at the same time, it is helping the musician move closer to their full potential.

Musical growth never happens in a vacuum. That is why a musician without an audience to present their creation is a musician that has never fully spread their wings. This absence can even diminish the skills already possessed by the musician. Although, the opportunity to perform is not directly proportional to performing well. But, repeatedly availing opportunities to perform can polish the abilities and skills of a musician. And not just musicians; it is all true for artists in every discipline. In fact, the same is true for everyone, in every walk of life. But as same as life, musicians can also get stuck and demotivated at times. And when that happens, the feelings of stagnation and inadequacy start creeping in. But what’s needed to be made clear here is that these feelings and the condition that gives rise to them are not unique to a single artist but is shared condition that can affect any musician at any time. And certainly, it is not a one-off type of situation either. It can strike an artist, as writing block can affect a writer. Keeping in mind, this happens to the biggest names in music as well; an artist can take some comfort from this fact. There are also remedial steps that can be taken to escape this situation. The foremost one is learning something new, like picking up a new instrument and improving it. This action can motivate and drive a musician’s creativity. Taking some time off from work can also help. Doing activities that are not directly related to creating music can have a refocusing effect. Also, taking a break can recharge the creative juices. Looking and listening to the sounds in the world around you is also recommended as it rejuvenates and refreshes the mind. And above all, writing down everything that pops into mind is the best advice. Why? Well, inspiration always comes unannounced. And inspiration is all that is required to achieve greatness.

Tomer Orenstein is a young Israeli singer, guitarist, songwriter, and performer. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, on December 2, 1996. Tomer was inspired at a very early age to gravitate towards music. Encouraged by his parents Tomer used to put on shows for the family at 3, and at the age of 7, he had learned how to play the keyboard. And not long after, at the age of 13, Tomer had learned to play guitar. Becoming a high school graduate in 2015 from Ben Gurion High School, Tel Aviv, Tomer decided to pursue his passion for music. Soon after he started privately studying music production, he did a deep dive into the intricacies of the music industry. Around the age of 15, he started producing music for other artists. When he turned 18, he reported for the compulsory military service tour and distinguished himself in that field, completing Commander’s course in the Israeli Air Force. At the end of the tour, Tomer again returned to his passion, the world of music.

Music is Tomer’s life, showing how far he has come in this short time. And it is only possible due to music inspiring his life. Tomer released his first single in 2019, inspired by his first love. The song ‘Vertigo,’ produced by Noam Akrabi, was selected for Universal Music Group or UMG’s ‘Spinnup,’ the digital distribution channel for independent artists, and garnered rave reviews. After the successful release of ‘Vertigo,’ Tomer released his second single, titled ‘Superman.’ The music video for the song was shot in the historical and beautiful Kiev, Ukraine. Soon after, following a breakup, Tomer produced two new singles. These were titled ‘Tears’ and ‘Heartbreaker,’ and being a true musician, the songs convey his feelings and emotional state while going through a breakup, releasing one after another in quick succession. One of the songs, ‘Heartbreak,’ was covered by EARMILK, a popular online music publication.

Just 25 years old, Tomer has made his mark in the world of music. He took his passion and developed and polished his abilities by availing all opportunities that came his way. Although it is not easy to break into an industry, Tomer has proven that once passion takes over, it always drives one forward, no matter what odds may come.

Preston Bradley on Navigating a Tough Film Industry and Reinventing Himself

Falling in love with a craft is one thing; succeeding in it is another. Becoming a successful actor is a dream many have, but achieving that dream doesn’t come without obstacles. Preston Bradley‘s story is no different.

The TikTok star, popularly known as The King of Cream, started his journey years ago as a soccer player before pursuing comedy. In high school, Bradley was scouted by top D1 colleges and played competitive soccer. However, after appearing in his brothers’ short films, he began to become drawn towards entertainment. While attending Indiana University, Bradley decided to enroll in a few film production classes to learn more about the business. That drove him to put his college education on hold and pursue improv comedy at Second City Chicago. After years of consistent training and mastering his technique at Second City, Bradley decided to move to Los Angeles in 2014.

With just a few short films completed and a solid comedy education, Preston needed to figure out a way to get into feature films. While working at Jimmy John’s and Domino’s on the side, Bradley would find out about a company called Central Casting. There, he was fortunate enough to work on film sets four to five days a week doing background work. He would quit his part-time jobs, and transition into acting full-time between 2014 and 2017. Early in 2017, he caught his first break and booked a photo double gig for Jay Duplass on THE MINDY PROJECT.

Later that year, things really took off. Bradley was cast as a featured background player on WILL AND GRACE for two seasons. However, after shooting 6 weeks with the full cast and crew, Bradley was replaced by Anthony Ramos. They would reshoot the whole six weeks of footage he was featured in, which devastated Bradley. He decided at that moment, maybe acting wasn’t the right career for him.

Instead, Bradley joined the cannabis industry in late 2017. He started off working as a cannabis delivery driver but in 2019, Bradley was awarded the role of Brand Ambassador for the cannabis company, MEDMEN. He worked with MEDMEN until March 2019, when the Brand Ambassador program was terminated suddenly.

However fate had other plans. Coerced by a friend, Preston attended the MEDMEN X KURVANA party. There, he would meet the head of sales for Kurvana, one of the top cannabis vape companies. This allowed Bradley, in just a few short weeks, to become their Brand Ambassador. In November 2019, he was promoted to territory manager where he managed products in over 100 different dispensaries all around Los Angeles.

In August of 2020, Bradley parted ways with Kurvana and had to make another life changing choice. This decision brought him back into acting. He was asked to stand-in for Lil Dicky on his FX show DAVE. Bradley would work on the show for 5 months, but remained unsatisfied creatively. This propelled him to start creating content on TikTok.

Bradley started with typical trend style videos before creating his character, the King of Cream. The character quickly became a favorite amongst the younger generation, who started to call themselves “Creamsters.” His popular catchphrase “That’s so creamy” became one of the most “meme’d” phrases on social media.

“I would consider myself a combination of Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. The energy of Williams, with the comedic delivery of Carrey,” Preston elaborates.

Today, Bradley has amassed 3.5M followers and made him one of the top TikTok creators in the world. His controversial and edgy content has paved the way for brand opportunities and allowed him to expand his content.

For the next few years, his goals include being featured in movies and TV shows as well as working in commercials. He hopes to build a successful career in acting and to work alongside the notable names that have inspired him. Bradley plans to establish a production company at some point with his older brother, and hopefully win awards that will inspire the next generation of entertainers.

Brother of Color: Digital Content Creator Changing Perception through Quality Family-Friendly Content

In the decades before now, the world revered professionals and white collared professions like Medical Doctors, Lawyers and Engineers. However, a paradigm shift in the world’s communication infrastructure and technology in the last two decades meant that individuals without college degrees and certification shape the nature and direction of conversation on the digital space and the internet. The shift became more prominent in the past decade because unskilled individuals changed the narratives. Skilled individuals and professionals have embraced the application and use of these communication technologies to stay ahead and innovate in their respective industries.

Among the individuals  who have benefited immensely from the digital era is San Diego-born and raised Paris Kinsey, an industry veteran and a legendary content creator who has reinvented himself over time across platforms and currently ruling Tik Tok as Brother of Color. Although content creation for Pat began as a hobby resulting from his love for filming and capturing moments, at inception, he never envisaged the level of reaction, followership and influence he has amassed over time.

Brotherofcolor’s content creation journey took a different turn after posting a clip of him and his sister. After losing a bet, the video showed him handing cash over to his sister. The clip, which went viral almost instantly, reached millions of social media users and even got reposts by celebrities. He hasn’t looked back from there, as his platform only grew

Like many content creators, Brother of Color relies on his comedic skills, although he is known  to post music content on his feed on occasions. However, he believes that his followers follow him due to the uniqueness of his content. “I really try to create content that the viewer can connect to and enjoy while being educated and entertained at the same time,” explained the content creator. He is also known to enjoy diverse followerships stemming from people who enjoy his content which  has been described severally as enjoyable and family-friendly for both children and adults.

The content creation space and social media platforms remain grossly unregulated, and thus, no  single user enjoys any form of monopoly, therefore leaving room for competition. However, despite how congested the content creation space is, Brother of Color is able to set himself apart from his peers with his hard work, perseverance, and consistency in creating enjoyable content. Describing  how he has managed to consistently create diverse content for all kinds of audiences, “Every piece of content I’ve created, I enjoyed the process – and even without the success that I’ve had, I would still do it because I truly love what I do.”

Although he has already amassed a strong following, Brother of Color hopes to expand his horizons and have his name and works known worldwide. With a burning passion for his craft the content creator hopes to have more people discover his brand and see what he has to offer. Additionally, he hopes to elevate his career and hop into the big screen with roles in movies and TV shows.
