Every year during Fashion Week, as Carrie Bradshaw once stated, “the women of New York leave the past behind and look forward to the future.” In 1943, the first edition of the renowned event was meant to break from French fashion and make way for American designers. Fashion week is one of the best times of the year in New York, from attending the shows, to seeing streetstyle all over the city. New York fashion week is one of the most significant events in the fashion industry, attracting top designers, models, celebrities, influencers, and fashion enthusiasts from around the world. New York Fashion Week 2024 will take place February 9-14.
Jacqueline Dao is both a former Miss Vietnam Global and an Instagram fashion and lifestyle influencer. Her blog highlights her luxury fashion aesthetic, as well as her travels, as part of her overall lifestyle brand. Her elegantly casual fashion sense has inspired women of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.
Her approachable fashion sense blends classic and trendy elements, appealing to a wide audience. Collaborations with major fashion brands in the luxury space and a strong social media presence have solidified her status as a prominent figure in the fashion industry. She has also collaborated with influencers around the world to grow her network. “As a fashion influencer, I do not stick with just one brand. My favorite luxury brand is Chanel. Chanel’s look has attracted the attention of influential wealthy women seeking relief from the prevalent corseted styles. Luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury,” Jacqueline said in an interview.
As a fashion and lifestyle influencer, former Miss Vietnam Global will be coming to New York City in a couple of weeks. As usual, she will work with photographers on photoshoots, attend fashion shows and events, dine in some of her favorite restaurants, and meet with her friends. About her return to New York Fashion Week (NYFW), Jacqueline shared: “New York will always be my favorite. It’s important that the world sees the creativity and diversity here during NYFW. The lifestyle in New York City is vibrant, exciting, and ever-changing. There are a plethora of restaurants, nightlife hotspots, shopping destinations and events to enjoy.”
During the previous NYFW, Jacqueline worked with photographer Alex Dani on a street style photoshoot, showcasing the Street Style of Miss Jacqueline Dao in the Chanel set that presented a panorama of comfort and chicness. Miss Jacqueline Dao changed her appearance in a variety of styles with a carefully designed front bow black top, white trousers, Camellia Chanel gloves, and the trendiest Chanel purse and shoes. The creativity in the lines and size of the design that fits her stunning shape is a notable highlight.

In another recent interview, Jacqueline shared “I have always been fascinated by how the industry evolves and adapts to the changing times.
