Founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg at the young age of 22, Koenigsegg is a Swedish automotive manufacturer renowned for pushing the boundaries of hypercar technology. The First Prototype: CC

In 1996, Koenigsegg unveiled its first prototype, the CC (Compact Composite), at the Paris Motor Show. This marked the beginning of the company’s journey into the hypercar realm. It was the world’s first production “megacar” with 1,341 horsepower, and it introduced several innovative features, including 3D-printed components. Regera and Jesko: Pushing the Limits Further

The Regera, introduced in 2015, showcased Koenigsegg’s commitment to hybrid technology. With a combined output of 1,500 horsepower from its twin-turbo V8 engine and electric motors, the Regera demonstrated the fusion of performance and sustainability.

The Jesko, introduced in 2019, continued the legacy with its 1,600-horsepower engine and advanced aerodynamics. Named after Christian von Koenigsegg’s father, Jesko von Koenigsegg, the car pushed the boundaries of speed and engineering precision.

Gemera: Redefining Hypercar Norms

In 2020, Koenigsegg introduced the Gemera, a groundbreaking hypercar with four seats, hybrid powertrain, and a focus on sustainable performance. The Gemera demonstrated Koenigsegg’s ability to innovate while challenging conventional notions of hypercar design.
