In the glamorous city of Miami Beach, FL, a spectacular gathering set the stage for celebrating innovation and excellence in the beauty industry. The NEW YOU Beauty B.A.R. Live Event, hosted over the course of two days, was not just an awards ceremony; it was a comprehensive showcase featuring influencer panels, red-carpet appearances, celebrity performances, and an awards show. This event marked the third annual live occurrence of the NEW YOU Beauty Awards, which have become a cornerstone for recognition in the beauty sector.
The event kicked off with a VIP Reception at the luxurious W South Beach Hotel, setting the tone for the weekend. Sponsored in part by notable brands like Grande Cosmetics, Elysian Parfum, and Makeup Revolution, the event aligned with Miami Swim Week ® ️ The Shows and supported Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida, adding a philanthropic dimension to the festivities. The reception featured high-energy performances by multi-platinum artist Flo Rida and dancing by Dancing With The Stars pro, Tony Dovoloni and his team.
Saturday’s awards ceremony at The 1 Hotels South Beach was a star-studded affair with celebrities like Ashley Benson and Jamie Chung walking the red carpet. Benson, awarded “Best Fragrance Innovation” for her ASH by Ashley Benson, shared insights about staying authentic in the high-stakes beauty world. Likewise, Alicia Grande, CEO of Grande Cosmetics, emphasized the relentless pursuit of passion and belief in one’s products as key to success.
The awards recognized a diverse array of talent across 19 categories. Over 600 products were scrutinized by NEW YOU’s skincare experts and staff, with additional input from consumer voting. 26 winners were announced, celebrating the best in skincare, makeup, fragrance, and innovation, demonstrating NEW YOU’s commitment to promoting groundbreaking products and ideas.
This year’s event highlighted the role of diverse cultural influences in shaping beauty trends, with an emphasis on inclusivity and sustainability. NEW YOU’s platform provided an invaluable opportunity for emerging and established brands to network, share their stories, and showcase their innovations.
