Darriel Roy Committed to Bringing Uplifting Content on TV on “The Darriel Roy Show”

Nowadays, content drives a considerable portion of people’s day-to-day lives. We live and breathe it as billions of people worldwide endlessly consume content from social media, television, radio, podcast, and other platforms. While not all content can be helpful, inspiring, or entertaining, those like Darriel Roy have shown an unwavering dedication to elevate content that speaks life to others.

Darriel Roy is a journalist, personality, correspondent, and media professional. Formerly, she participated in Miss Universe Canada, Miss Ontario, and Miss Canada International. Later, Darriel would start a career in media and climb up the ranks in style, getting featured on major outlets like NBC, FOX, CBS, Rogers Television, MSN, Billboard, AOL, and TMZ Life. Today, Darriel hosts The Darriel Roy Show, where she features celebrities and entrepreneurs and draws out inspirational stories about how they pursued their goals and achieved success.

Before branching out to start an original brand of her own, Darriel worked relentlessly to build a name up for herself in journalism and entertainment correspondence. All the while, she remained hungry to learn and network, which would result in her multiple leading interviews with some of the most influential people. As a correspondent and interviewer, Roy would share the screen and interview personalities like the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, James Franco, Ryan Reynolds, Rachel McAdams, Snoop Dogg, Ed Sheeran, Seth Rogen, to name a few. She would later receive the illustrious honor of being nominated as the People’s Choice Winner for Fashion and Style at the Waterfront Awards in 2018. She is also one of Notable’s featured Young Professionals, a list of achievers who have thrived in their respective industries.

Today, the media personality has now branched out fearlessly on her own with The Darriel Roy Show, which currently airs on Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and all android boxes worldwide on TAG TV in addition to AOL Video – Verizon & I Heart Radio. The show has welcomed many highly celebrated guests in show business and entrepreneurship, including Sean Paul, Shaggy, Suzanne Somers, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, Jillian Michaels, Grant Cardone, Marc Randolph, Russell Peters, Lennox Lewis, Kat Von D, Apl De Ap, Lill Jon, Nicky Jam, and many others.

Despite only launching a year and half ago, The Darriel Roy Show has already built up a strong following around the globe. The show’s leading woman shares how her only desire is to share positive content during these trying times. Given all that has happened in the last few years—a worldwide pandemic, catastrophes, wars, and riots—people often need a break from the harsh realities around us and consume content that could spark hope and joy in others. Darriel’s show has been a source of that positivity. She uses her platform to share messages that help others see the silver lining by highlighting stories of people who overcame the odds and rose above the challenge.

Darriel Roy hopes to one day follow in the footsteps of Oprah. “I see myself being the next Oprah,” she shares. “Touring the world as a motivational speaker, having my own talk show on a major platform, being a best-selling author, and also becoming a brand by creating my own perfume, makeup, or clothing line.”Extremely driven, Darriel believes that the sky is her limit and continues to shoot for the stars.
