In the competitive world of healthcare logistics, Erkin Sattarov stands out as a visionary entrepreneur who turned a simple idea into two groundbreaking companies, Rx2Go and Rx4Route. These platforms are revolutionizing prescription delivery in the United States, offering pharmacies and hospitals new ways to optimize deliveries and reduce costs. Today, Erkin shares with US Reporter the journey behind his success, challenges, and advice for young entrepreneurs.
Interviewer: Erkin, thank you for joining us today. Let’s start from the beginning. How did the idea for Rx2Go and Rx4Route come about?
Erkin: Thank you for having me! The idea for Rx2Go and Rx4Route started when I was working as a pharmacy driver. Driving around New York City, delivering prescriptions to patients, I noticed pharmacies struggled to manage their deliveries efficiently. There were constant delays because of traffic, poor route planning, and a lack of any sort of tracking. Patients were frustrated, and pharmacies were losing money to manage the chaos. I knew there had to be a better way.
One day, after spending hours stuck in traffic, I started thinking about how to solve this problem. I imagined a system that could optimize routes, predict traffic, and track deliveries in real-time. That’s how the idea for Rx2Go came about. Later, I realized that different areas—like rural regions—had challenges, which led to the creation of Rx4Route, explicitly designed for long-distance deliveries.
Interviewer: That’s incredible! Turning an idea from personal experience into a successful company is no small feat. What were some of the biggest challenges or mistakes you faced?
Erkin: Oh, there were plenty of challenges! In the beginning, I made a lot of mistakes. One of the biggest was underestimating the complexity of building a tech platform. I could hire a few developers and tell them what I wanted, and the system would work flawlessly. I quickly learned that building a platform like Rx2Go requires constant iteration and testing. We launched with many bugs and issues, and it took us time to fine-tune everything. Looking back, I realize I should have been more patient and involved in the development process.
Another mistake was not prioritizing the customer experience enough in the early stages. I was so focused on solving the logistics problem that I didn’t spend enough time understanding what pharmacies and patients needed beyond faster deliveries. It took time to gather feedback and adapt the platform to meet the specific needs of each user, but once we started doing that, things improved drastically.
Interviewer: What did you learn from those experiences, and how do you think young entrepreneurs can avoid making similar mistakes?
Erkin: First, I would say, “Don’t rush the process.” Building something great takes time, and if you push too fast, you’ll miss important details. Take your time to understand the problem you’re solving, and don’t be afraid to take small steps rather than rushing toward a quick solution.
Also, be hands-on, especially in the early stages. I wish I had been more involved in the platform’s development initially. Even if you’re not a tech person, get involved in every aspect of your business so you understand how everything works. That way, you can make better decisions and avoid costly mistakes later.
Finally, listen to your customers. It’s easy to get caught up in your vision, but your product has to serve your users at the end of the day. Be humble enough to accept feedback and adapt. In the case of Rx2Go, listening to the pharmacies and patients using the system helped us refine the platform and make it more effective.

Interviewer: That’s excellent advice. Many young entrepreneurs look up to you as someone who significantly impacted the healthcare industry. What’s your most extensive motivational advice for those just starting their entrepreneurial journey?
Erkin: My most significant piece of advice is to believe in your idea—even when no one else does. I can’t tell you how many people told me my idea was too complicated or that a platform like Rx2Go could not work in a city as congested as New York. But I didn’t let that stop me. I believed in my vision, and I was willing to put in the hard work to make it happen.
It’s important to remember that failure is part of the process. Every mistake or setback is an opportunity to learn and grow. Don’t be afraid to fail because each failure brings you one step closer to success. And don’t underestimate the power of perseverance. There were times when I thought about quitting, especially when things weren’t going as planned. But I kept going, and eventually, I started seeing results. If you’re passionate about your idea and willing to work, you’ll get there—no matter how long it takes.
Interviewer: What keeps you motivated to continue growing Rx2Go and Rx4Route?
Erkin: What motivates me the most is the knowledge that we’re making a real difference. It’s about helping people. I’ve seen how much easier life has become for pharmacies that use Rx2Go, and I’ve heard from patients who are so grateful that they can deliver their prescriptions on time. That’s incredibly rewarding for me.
I’m also motivated by the idea of what’s next. We’re constantly innovating and trying new ways to improve the platform and expand our reach. There’s always room to grow, and I’m excited about where we’re heading.
Interviewer: Speaking of the future, what’s next for you and your companies?
Erkin: Right now, we’re focused on expanding our operations across the United States, and eventually, we plan to go international. We’re also working on new features to make the platforms even more efficient, particularly regarding AI-driven route optimization and delivery tracking. I’m always thinking about how we can evolve to meet the changing needs of healthcare providers.
I’m also interested in mentoring other young entrepreneurs. I’ve learned a lot on this journey, and I want to help others avoid some of the mistakes I made. By sharing knowledge, we can create a more robust entrepreneurial ecosystem where more people can succeed.
Interviewer: Erkin, it’s been an inspiring conversation. Thank you for sharing your story and insights. Any final words for our readers?
Erkin: Remember that no dream is too big. If you have an idea that you believe in, go for it—no matter how daunting it seems. Success doesn’t happen overnight, but you can make it happen with hard work, determination, and a willingness to learn. Keep pushing forward, stay focused, and never give up.
Interviewer: Thank you, Erkin, for your time and valuable insights. We wish you continued success with Rx2Go and Rx4Route!
Erkin: Thank you! It’s been a pleasure.
