Brandon Carrero is one of the entrepreneurs making affordable homeownership solutions available to people. He’s the CEO of Boxx Builder, an affordable luxury container home company and the founder of Carrero Mortgage Advisors, a mortgage lending company specializing in construction finance, residential and commercial mortgages.
Brandon’s vast experience in the real estate industry has placed him highly as a well-respected leader in the industry. He is a licensed real estate broker in Texas with Carrero & Spear Real Estate Group, and he has served as Vice President at Leblanc, Karlseng & Patten, a Texas Fee Attorney. He’s also on the board of Arbor Green, his homeowners’ association, where he serves as president. Brandon has been all about making the real estate industry an attractive space for all and sundry and home ownership an achievable dream for everyone who wants it.
Beyond running his company and delivering his duties in all the capacities he serves, Brandon Carrero has been involved in some earth restoration programs, such as helping with establishing the Dioceses of Roseau Cathedral Foundation which helped raise money for the devastated island of Dominica after Hurricane Maria.
As part of his commitment to making homeownership accessible to as many people as possible, Brandon’s company Carrero Mortgage Advisors is a certified lender with Miami Dade County Affordable Homeownership Program called Public Housing and Community Development. The program encourages first-time homeowners to seek assistance and obtain a mortgage loan subsidy through the County’s loan program. Although the applicants have to qualify under CDBG, HOME, SHIP or Surtax income guidelines, the assistance remains a welcome one for prospective homebuyers.
Carrero Mortgage Advisors works with Public Housing and Community Development to provide a low-interest second and/or third mortgage to homebuyers and reduce their out-of-pocket costs to an affordable level. With his BA degree in Political Science from the University of Houston and MBA from Marylhurst University, Brandon has done everything in his power to make an impact as a real estate professional and he’s building impactful companies while at it.
Over the next few years, Brandon Carrero hopes to help as many people and families own homes that they can afford without breaking the bank. He also plans to expand his business’ reach to other parts of the United States to make sure affordable home ownership becomes a real concept for Americans. “The home is where a family feels safest and in today’s world, owning a home is a dream many aspire to achieve.
