One of the highlights of this year was Dana Lekus’s professional masterclass at Hilton Miami Aventura. This event was not just an educational session — it was a true celebration of beauty, inspiration, and women’s empowerment.
During the masterclass, Dana spoke about the key principles of professional runway makeup, demonstrated express techniques for creating long-lasting and impactful looks, and revealed how to adapt fashion makeup for commercial projects and editorial shoots.
A special feature of the event was the participation of invited guest speakers — powerful and talented women who built their own beauty brands and communities in the U.S.:
- Anelya Alim, a successful entrepreneur and expert in personal brand development in the beauty industry, shared her path to success, her vision of women’s unity, and how she built a beauty empire in America.
- Alsu Sharafutdinova, founder of Yash Natural Skincare, spoke about the process of creating organic beauty products and launching her own brand, emphasizing the importance of skincare health and sustainable formulations.
This masterclass became a space for professional growth, exchange of ideas, and genuine inspiration.
Thanks to initiatives like those led by Dana Lekus, the beauty industry is becoming more united, purposeful, and empowering.
Recently, Dana Lekus gathered a passionate group of volunteers from her Dana Lekus Beauty Team to organize a charity event called “Beauty Day” at His House Children’s Home — one of the largest foster care centers in South Florida, providing shelter, care, and emotional support to children and teens who have experienced trauma, abandonment, or displacement, including those affected by the immigration crisis.
His House Children’s Home, a nonprofit organization founded in 1989, offers temporary housing, therapeutic services, educational support, and family reunification programs. Their mission focuses on restoring dignity, safety, and confidence in the lives of young people.
During the event, Dana and her team created a true celebration for teenage girls: volunteers offered professional makeup and hairstyling services, held beauty self-care workshops, and gifted cosmetic kits to the participants.
In addition, the team led a heartwarming floral workshop, teaching the girls how to create beautiful bouquets using fresh flowers — a hands-on activity that encouraged creativity and emotional expression through floral art.
This initiative became another powerful example of how beauty can be more than a profession — it can be a tool for healing, empowerment, and love.
In February 2025, Dana Lekus also volunteered her expertise for a special event held in collaboration with the United Nations. Together with Anelya Alim and the International Nonprofit International Beauty and Fashion Association, Dana provided professional makeup services for models participating in a fashion show organized as part of the Celebration of the United Nations Women’s Conference.

This meaningful initiative aimed to highlight cultural diversity, women’s empowerment, and global solidarity through fashion, beauty, and creativity. Dana’s contribution helped elevate the visual impact of the show while honoring the spirit of unity and respect that the conference represented.
Dana Lekus believes that volunteering in the beauty industry is not just about giving — it’s about growing. Each charitable project becomes a powerful space for connection, empathy, and transformation — both for the people receiving care and for the professionals offering it.
Volunteering for good teaches beauty artists to look deeper, to see the person behind the face, and to use their skills not only for glamour but for healing, empowerment, and hope. It builds emotional intelligence, strengthens leadership, and reminds us that beauty has the power to restore dignity and joy.
As Dana often says:
“When you give your talent with love — it multiplies. And that’s the real magic of our industry.”
