The Clouded Barber, also known as Will Elmgren, has made a name for himself in the barbering industry. His journey to success has been anything but easy, but through hard work and determination, he has built a loyal client base and won recognition for his skills. Now, he is ready to take his brand to the next level by expanding his business to multiple locations in the city.
Will’s unique story is what sets him apart from other barbers. Starting as a hip-hop artist in a group called Orbit X, Will would cut his own hair before performing with the group. People were always impressed with his haircut, but they never believed that he did it himself. This sparked an idea in Will’s mind, and he began cutting his friends’ hair, eventually building a small shop in his garage with his father’s help. While he was in the music space he collaborated with artists such as Sadat X from Brand Nubian, and also did a mixtape that featured known artists. He would also perform at the Opera House as well and a few other spots around the city of Toronto.
After obtaining experience at various barbershops, Will found a great team at the Barbershop Vaughan Mills outside the Vaughan Mills shopping center, where he has been for the past 9 years. He has built a loyal client base over the years and even participated at the Flawless Fade Championship at the 2023 Iconic Men Barber Expo.
Now, Will is ready to expand his brand to multiple locations in the city. His target demographic is those who appreciate a clean and professional haircut with a flare of creativity. Will plans to provide quality haircuts while continuing to grow as a barber and as a human being.
In a recent interview, Will stated, “My next step is to open my own barbershop/suite and continue to give quality haircuts and grow increasingly as a barber and as a human being. This is my life, and I welcome you all into it.” His dedication to his craft and his clients is what makes Will stand out in the industry.
