By: Cristina McKay, Founder of Everbella
When Cristina McKay founded EverBella, she was not trying to create a trend-driven beauty company. She was responding to a pattern she saw repeatedly among women who felt dismissed, exhausted, and told that visible changes in their skin, hair, and energy were simply part of getting older.
Today, EverBella has shipped more than 100,000 products globally and grown into a multimillion-dollar brand through word of mouth, affiliate advocacy, and consistent product performance. At its core, the brand reflects McKay’s belief that women’s wellness should be rooted in science, absorption, and long-term support rather than surface-level solutions.
We spoke with McKay about her journey, the science behind EverBella, and how values, results, and legacy continue to shape the brand.
You often say EverBella began with a question rather than a product. What was that question?
The real question was this: Why are so many women doing everything “right” and still feeling off? They were taking supplements, following healthy routines, investing in skincare products, and yet their skin looked weathered, their hair was thinning, and their energy felt inconsistent. The common explanation was stress or aging.
But I did not believe that was the full story. I believed those changes were signals that the body was asking for deeper support. That question led me to look beyond surface-level solutions and dig into other factors, such as digestion, hormones, and how nutrients are actually absorbed in the body.
What did you uncover that the industry was overlooking?
Absorption. That was the missing link.
The supplement industry talks endlessly about the health benefits of certain ingredients (like collagen and biotin), but very few address whether the body can absorb and utilize them. If the nutrients are not absorbed efficiently, they cannot support elastin production, hormonal balance, or hair strength – no matter how impressive the label looks.
That discovery changed everything for me and is precisely why EverBella was built around micelle liposomal delivery. This absorption technology is designed to enhance bioavailability by facilitating the more effective movement of nutrients through digestion and into the bloodstream at the cellular level. When absorption improves, the results are profound. Women don’t just take a supplement… That can actually feel AND see the difference.
EverBella has grown largely through word of mouth. Why was that important to you?
Because women trust women.
I wanted EverBella to earn its reputation through results, not marketing pressure. When someone notices changes in their skin, hair, or energy, they talk about it. Those conversations are honest, and they carry weight.
Our growth has come from customers, wellness professionals, and affiliates who genuinely use the products and feel confident recommending them. That trust compounds over time.
EverBella’s growth has been organic, but the brand also carries a strong sense of heritage and meaning. Where does that come from for you?
It comes from my grandmother, Elizabeth. She was the first child born in America in 1909 to an Italian immigrant family, and she carried herself with incredible grace, strength, and self-respect.
When I was young, she used to say to me, “Quanto sei bella,” which means, “How beautiful you are.” She never meant beauty as something superficial. She meant it as presence, vitality, and self-acceptance. A quiet confidence that comes from being rooted in who you are.
EverBella is named in her honor. The brand reflects what she taught me, that beauty is something you cultivate over time through care, nourishment, consistency, and honoring who you are at every stage of life. It’s not about chasing youth. It’s about preserving your vitality.
How does that influence the way you lead the brand today?
It keeps me grounded.
I never wanted EverBella to feel exclusive or performative. The experience should feel the same whether you are a busy mother, a caregiver, an entrepreneur, or someone in the public eye.
My grandmother believed in consistency and respect for the body. That philosophy guides every decision we make, from formulation to communication with our community. At the end of the day, the body does not respond to status. It responds to support. And that belief shapes how we show up for women every single day.
After years of growth, what results stand out to you most across the EverBella community?
What stands out is the consistency of women’s reports across age groups.
We hear the same themes from women in their 30s through their 70s… Their skin begins to look more hydrated and even. Their hair feels stronger and fuller, with noticeably less fallout. Their nails grow faster with less breakage. Their energy feels steadier throughout the day. And their joints feel mobile.
But beyond the physical changes, what truly stands out is how often women say that they feel like themselves again.
That pattern matters because it reinforces the importance of absorption and consistency. When the body is properly nourished and supported, visible improvements tend to follow naturally.
Which products have been most central to EverBella’s growth?
Complete Collagen Plus has been foundational. It is often where women start, and many notice changes in skin texture, nail strength, energy levels, and hair quality within the first few weeks of consistent use. Because it’s delivered using our micelle liposomal technology, we focus not only on the ingredients themselves, but on ensuring the body can effectively absorb and utilize them.
Complete Biotin Plus has also played a significant role in our growth. It was formulated to support healthy hair growth, which remains a primary concern within the EverBella community. Every ingredient was intentionally selected to nourish hair density, scalp health, and hormonal balance, supporting the internal factors that influence hair loss. Like our other core formulas, it utilizes micelle liposomal delivery to enhance absorption and bioavailability.
Together, these products reflect the core philosophy behind EverBella: when nutrients are delivered effectively and used consistently, the body responds.
How do you protect customer trust as the brand continues to scale?
By staying close to the customer experience.
We back our products with a 180-day satisfaction guarantee and listen carefully to feedback. Growth should never come at the cost of integrity. When women feel supported rather than sold to, loyalty follows naturally.
That is also why we created the EverBella Loyalty Club, to help women stay consistent more affordably and experience the full benefits over time.
You recently expanded your offerings to include Glow Renewal Program coaching. Why was that important?
Women were not just asking for products. They were asking for guidance.
Over the years, I began hearing the same question again and again: “I’m taking the supplements, but what else should I be doing?” That is what led to the Glow Renewal Program. It offers personalized support across gut health, hormone balance, skin, hair, energy, sleep, and mindset through one-on-one coaching and customized plans.
For me, it was a natural evolution. Supplements can be powerful, but they work best within a supportive lifestyle. The program reflects my belief that when the body is truly supported internally, it glows naturally on the outside.
As International Women’s Day approaches, what does leadership mean to you as a female founder?
Leadership, to me, means building solutions that respect women’s biology and intelligence.
For too long, women have been told their symptoms are normal and that feeling depleted is just part of aging. As a female founder, leadership means questioning those narratives and creating alternatives grounded in science, transparency, and integrity.
It means choosing science over shortcuts and trust over trends. It’s proven that you can build a successful brand by listening closely, educating openly, and letting results speak louder than marketing.
If EverBella has proven anything, it is that women are incredibly discerning. When you respect them, they respond. That is the kind of leadership I hope more women feel empowered to step into.
