Insurance company Inspired Insurance Solutions was recently named one of Central Florida’s Top 25 Women-Owned Businesses. In fact, the company, which is also one of America’s fastest-growing independent brokerage companies, has seen 75% growth in just this year alone. And its success is largely thanks to founder and president, Jessi Park.
Park, who currently lives in Lake Mary with her family, graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a bachelor’s degree in communications and business. She started out as an individual insurance producer in 2017 and then founded Inspired Insurance Solutions, an independent brokerage company that’s passionate about leveraging the skills of its experienced team to care for clients in need.
“It’s all about how a company strategizes its assets, and the juxtaposition between culture and work driven results is where most companies struggle,” Park said. “Having the right people in the correct places, working together towards the organization’s vision is where brilliance happens — that’s how I’ve built my business and my life.”
Inspired Insurance Solutions sports a roster of agents who focus in the health, life, Medicare, and the annuity portion of the insurance industry. Park emphasises empowering her agents.
“I believe our company’s most valuable resources reflect our intentional investments,” said Park “It’s all about human capital and knowing how to encourage team members to commit to the mission and outcomes while celebrating who they are.”
When Park launched Inspired Insurance Solutions, she only had two years of experience in the industry under her belt. Before landing in the insurance industry, she struggled through debt and corporate jobs with glass ceilings. But she quickly learned what makes a good agent, and she’s now recruiting agents nationwide. She hopes to inspire industry-wide change by eliminating bias as she finds new hires too, stating, “Inspired Insurance Solutions is growing purposefully and rapidly, and the next step is for the organization to inspire other insurance producers to ask bigger questions of the industry as a whole.”
Park also recently wrote a book titled, Soul Beneficiary: The Good, Better, Best Guide to Success in Selling Insurance, where she shared her hard-won wisdom. The book combines memoir and how-to, covering mindset tips that will inspire readers to make their own way in the world.
In addition to her work as a company president and author, Park speaks at 8% Nation, the world’s largest insurance and marketing conference. She is also passionate about giving back to her community. She is not only a candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man and Woman of the Year Award, but in her spare time, is an internationally collected artist who creates palette knife oil paintings, which are sold in stores like Walmart, Sears, and Wayfair.
Building a multi-million dollar insurance agency in just five years is not a task that just anybody can do, but Park did it. And now, this president and author’s story is creating a ripple effect to shape up the insurance industry in the best way possible — in Florida and far beyond.
