Originally from St. Augustine Beach, Florida, Monique LeClair has always had a heart of gold. As a matter of fact, she would help revive animals that she saw struggling in the street at a young age. While this circumstance spoke volumes of her caring and compassionate heart, Monique only decided to establish a career in the healthcare industry after she lost her father to cancer. “I saw how the nurses made my dad’s last moments easier,” she shared. Years down the road, Monique became a nurse at the age of 20.
For 12 years, Monique LeClair has made waves across the healthcare realm, providing patients with the best and most appropriate care that they need. Although the COVID-19 pandemic posed a grave threat to Monique’s health, especially when her daughter was only four months old at the onset of the crisis, she continued to serve after seeing the shortage of nurses across the state. “Having witnessed hospitals reach their breaking point, I just knew in my heart that I needed to help,” Monique shared. Consistently pushing the boundaries of her career, she is currently studying to become a nurse practitioner to further her capacity to help others in need.
Although Monique LeClair had already gained a foothold in the healthcare industry, she also wanted to pursue her passion for acting. Thus, she moved to Los Angeles in 2014 for her vision to come to fruition. “I have always been passionate about film and theatre,” explained Monique. “As a matter of fact, I was exposed to the industry at a very early age, modeling and doing photoshoots at six months,” she added.
Recently, Monique LeClair shot a music video along with Wiz Khalifa and Christina Aguilera. She is also set to work on a film entitled Dark Alien Visions along with her two-year-old daughter, Nova Lee Jasper LeClair.
